With its 80 seats arranged in comfortable communicating rooms, the restaurant is the ideal place for pleasant meetings of sports clubs, cultural associations and other kinds of clubs. You will find at your disposal a wide and comfortable outdoor area for alfresco dinners, buffets, and promotional events.

Furthermore, in the restaurant you will find a large screen with satellite receiver connection and video source adapters for PC, DVD player and videotape recorders, in order to allow the projection of promotional materials or quarterly statements of associations’ activities.

…today I’m having lunch at my mother-in-law’s house
The typical dishes of the Langa as a personal experience

I have been a “patient” of my mother-in-law for 10 years, I can easily state that she is a wonderful therapist, you just need to follow her suggestion: do not discontinue the treatment, otherwise benefit would disappear.
She was born in 1928, for that generation food was a cult: for a part of their life it has been a problem, because when she was a young girl, during the Second World War, food was not always available. Then, like every perfect housewife of the Langa, she had to learn how to make ravioli and to cook. Nowadays she waits for the week-ends, when she can cook for her children and grandchildren, she always tells us “you are always in a hurry, you don’t allow yourself enough time for eating”.
For my mother-in-law, the tradition of the “Sunday meal” is still alive. This was an important event, a chance to spend some time with the family and talk about the family problems and businesses.
Her cooking is based on simple recipes that she has been proposing for so many years that she thinks we got bored. Because of her candour, she does not realize that these recipes have become part of our culture after having been served on our table for such a long time, therefore they have become important.
These and other recipes have been revived and partly revised in our restaurant, where traditions are strictly respected with an eye to modern taste, since we are convinced that “eating out” should be no more an occasional event, and its purpose regarding products and dish presentation should be quality instead of quantity.
Here you can find some of the recipes that I have to “endure”, sometimes with my mother-in-law telling me with her gentle insistence “Come on, eat it up!”. Anyway, I’m aware that everything is done for my good and that my efforts will contribute to the preservation of a tradition and a culture.
Periodically, you will find on these pages the list of the dishes that you can taste at the hostel “La Pavoncella”.
